Some people say that teaching is "leisurely" because they just prepare a lecture based on the textbook curriculum and repeat it for each class, each school year. Now, it's even more "leisurely" because there is versatile and intelligent AI assistance, and in the future, these "citizens" will naturally replace the position of the teacher...
Well, reusing knowledge is correct, and AI can make an impression, but the essence still lies in the beating heart of educators in sync with their students. Emotions are something that cannot be "repeated"! That's why there are situations where teaching the same lesson on the same day can be lively and effective in one class but dry and unsuccessful in another. Sometimes, just observing the students, their cooperative attitudes, and their preparation for new lessons... can make the teaching session "enjoyable."
Understanding the "frequency" of students to be flexible, regardless of whether it's 4.0, 5.0, or beyond, is still a challenging task!
Sometimes, many people are amazed and overwhelmed by modern schools; the sheer admiration directed at teachers who excel in national, regional, or international competitions. But strangely enough, that state quickly passes. It's only the image of a teacher dedicating their youth to remote border areas, the humble opening day of a teacher and students in a distant school, or a teacher in Africa teaching keyboard skills with chalk on a blackboard... that touches the hearts of millions. Those beautiful stories, reminiscent of fairy tales, are the enduring beauty of the educational journey, of the teaching profession.
Somewhere, there is a worm that spoils... the school environment. This is true when it comes to the surface of the "iceberg of education," but when we consider it in a broader, wider, and deeper sense, the mission of a teacher is to bring joy and find peace. That's why the teaching profession should be a mutual choice, where individuals choose the profession and the profession also chooses them. Despite the challenges, as long as there is a loving and caring heart for the profession, education will always remain vibrant.
