The conference

Along with the nationwide education sector, Dong Nai province has made significant efforts in integrating digital transformation into its operations, particularly in the application of technology in testing, surveys, and assessing the quality of teaching and learning.

On the afternoon of May 22, 2023, MegaEdu Technology Corporation, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province, organized a conference titled "Report on the interim evaluation of the foreign language proficiency examination for 3rd-grade students," which took place in early March this year on a province-wide scale. In addition to the purpose of evaluating the examination, the conference also aimed to discuss upcoming cooperation programs between MegaEdu and the Department of Education and Training of the province.

The conference was attended by leaders from various departments and divisions of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province, as well as representatives from MegaEdu Technology Corporation. Additionally, 11 Education Departments within the province participated in the conference remotely.

From the Department of Education and Training, there were the presence of Mr. Nguyen Minh Kiem - Deputy Head of Division 1, and Ms. Nguyen Trang Thuy Dung - Specialist of Division 1.

From MegaEdu Technology Corporation, Mr. Tran Trong Nghia - Director of the company, Mr. Le Tan An - Product Director, and Mr. Pham Duy Tan - Head of the Southeast region representative, were present.

In his opening speech at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Minh Kiem affirmed that digital transformation is a trend, while emphasizing the importance of the survey and the online testing platform provided by MegaEdu.

To further clarify the benefits that MegaEdu's products bring to the education sector, Mr. Tran Trong Nghia gave an overview of the company and highlighted the prominent advantages of the technology platforms offered by MegaEdu. Following that, Mr. Le Tan An delved deeper into the online testing system used in the recent survey and presented detailed statistical reports recorded by the system.

On the professional side, the Department has provided positive evaluations and comments on MegaEdu's technological products. Specifically, the Department representative stated that applying technology to surveys has significantly saved costs, personnel, and facilitated organization with the widespread participation across the city. Additionally, the automated and prompt reporting and statistics after each examination have been highly praised as a major advantage, allowing leaders and specialized departments to evaluate the foreign language proficiency of students in each locality in detail and plan for changes and improvements in primary school teaching in the future. However, the recent online survey also faced some limitations that need to be addressed, such as device and connectivity issues, and some students being unfamiliar with the operation.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Minh Kiem acknowledged and highly appreciated the recent pilot survey. He recognized that digital transformation in education is a trend and a requirement of the entire sector. Therefore, the regular organization of widespread surveys using technology will enhance effectiveness, quality, cost-efficiency, and gradually integrate deeply into international standards.
