Purpose and Scope of Data Collection

These are mandatory details that MegaEdu needs customers to provide when registering to use the service and for MegaEdu to contact and confirm when customers register to use the service on the website to ensure customer rights.
Additionally, personal information includes but is not limited to data reflecting individual activities on MegaEdu platforms, including the number of visits, links clicked by users, and other information related to how users connect to the MegaEdu system.
Data collection is primarily conducted on websites such as https://megaedu.net.vn, https://megatest.edu.vn, https://megaschool.edu.vn, and other websites within the MegaEdu ecosystem.

MegaEdu will collect user personal information when

Users (or user management entities) request the creation of an account to use MegaEdu, register for consultation, purchase products/services provided by MegaEdu, participate in online surveys.
Users request MegaEdu's support to resolve issues encountered while using MegaEdu's products/services or support other issues through the user support feature on the website, via email, or by phone.
Additionally, for a better experience using MegaEdu's application on smartphones/tablets, we may request certain information and access rights, including:

Using the microphone and camera for online learning.
Device ID for sending notifications.
Photo library and camera for uploading profile pictures.

Sending notifications about exchange activities between customers and MegaEdu.

Communicating and resolving issues with customers in special cases.
Not using customer personal information for purposes other than confirmation and related contact regarding transactions outside MegaEdu.

In cases of legal requirements, MegaEdu is responsible for cooperating in providing customer personal information when requested by legal authorities, including the Prosecutor's Office, the Court, and relevant law enforcement agencies regarding any violation of customer law. Additionally, no one has the right to violate customer personal information.

Data Retention Period

Customer personal data will be stored until there is a cancellation request or until the customer logs in and initiates cancellation. In all cases, customer personal information will be securely stored on MegaEdu servers.

We only allow our employees, contractors, and representatives to access personal information as they need this information to process it for us, and they must comply with strict security obligations in contracts. They may be disciplined or have their contracts terminated if they do not comply with these obligations.

Means and Tools for Users to Access and Edit Their Data

Customers have the right to check, update, adjust, or cancel their personal information by logging into their account and editing personal information or requesting MegaEdu to do so.
Customers have the right to file complaints with MegaEdu. Upon receiving this feedback, MegaEdu will verify the information, and if it corresponds to the customer's feedback, MegaEdu will take timely corrective measures.

Commitment to Customer Personal Information Security

MegaEdu is committed to the absolute security of customer personal information, according to MegaEdu's privacy protection policy. The collection and use of each customer's information will only be done with the customer's consent, except where otherwise provided by law. No use, transfer, provision, or disclosure to any third party of customer personal information will occur without the customer's consent.
In case the information storage server is attacked by hackers, leading to the loss of customer personal data, MegaEdu will be responsible for notifying the relevant authorities for a timely investigation and informing the affected customers.
MegaEdu's management board requires individuals registering for services to provide complete relevant personal information (such as full name, contact address, email, etc.) and take legal responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided. The MegaEdu management board is not responsible and will not resolve any complaints related to the rights of customers if all personal information provided by the customer during the initial registration is found to be inaccurate.
